Privacy Policy
VetWarehouses ("we," "us") publishes public regulatory records about business entities and facilities. This policy explains the personal information we collect from you — a visitor, account holder, or early-access requester — how we use it, and the choices you have. It does not cover the facility records we publish, which are public government records about businesses, not personal information about consumers.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us and the minimum generated by operating a website:
- Early-access requests. Your work email, the role you select, and (optionally) your company name.
- Accounts. Your email address. We use one-time sign-in links, so we never collect or store a password. If you save facilities to a watchlist or choose a plan, we store those preferences with your account.
- Automatic data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept for security and reliability, and aggregate, privacy-preserving analytics via Vercel Analytics. We do not use tracking cookies and we do not track you across other sites.
How we use it
To operate the site, sign you in, maintain your watchlist, respond to disputes and support requests, contact you about early access when you've asked us to, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who processes it
We use a small set of service providers to run VetWarehouses: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Titan (email). Each processes data only to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
Retention
We keep account and early-access information until you ask us to delete it or your account is closed. Server logs are retained on our hosting provider's standard short-term schedule.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing info@vetwarehouses.com. We verify requests using the email address on file.
California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect (described above), to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, and we do not use sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the service. We will never treat you differently for exercising these rights. To exercise them, email info@vetwarehouses.com.
Facility records and disputes
The records we publish concern business entities and facilities and come from public government sources. If you believe a published record is wrong or misattributed, email disputes@vetwarehouses.com and we will investigate and correct or annotate it. Our methodology explains how assessments are built.
Children
VetWarehouses is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
